Natures Head Marine $850 composting toilet

The complete unit requires no water!
The complete unit requires no water!

At $850 (msrp) it comes in the lowest cost

I have used many different composting toilets. Many on the market are very nice indeed. Some require deep crawl spaces, or minimal water for operation.

I had used one on a sailing vessel once and had asked where it came from and was told that it was a Natures Head(R) system. What had impressed me the most was it's size, it wasn't much bigger than most chemical camping toilets, so it fits in the cramped confines of a boat's head.

Impressive to me is the quality and simplicity of it's design, and at only $850, it is far less cost than any compareable system.

I will be installing this very composting toilet indoors in my micro home. I will use a Marine style solar powered fan/vent, in addition to the supplied stock fan system to help the biological processes along, and to provide extra constant ventilation. I will be putting the stock fan on a timer to run at night while the solar vent is off, this fan will use a small solar panel/battery set to charge itself durring the daylight hours.
