I would like to think that it will be just another day in the United States. I will be kicked back in my chair, drinking a Budwieser, and waiting for "it" to happen. We all know what "IT" is, yep, the big one, the end of it all, the big show, the end of times.....

The Old time Mexicans knew it all along! The Indians also had this information, yet forgot to give it to their new white "brothers". I don't blame them, we would not have listened to them anyway, and The Pope would have had them declaired heritics, or worse, and had them burned alive for daring to say God (meaning them) was not in control.....

Will we witness the end of the earth? I really doubt it. I think we will go through a period of adjustment, and adapt to any changes that happen. Worst case senario, we go into a world wide economic collapse, and go back to "survival of the fitest" for awhile. That wouldn't be so bad would it? We could get rid of all the plastic people that way. It would be earn your keep or starve! No more SUV's, fake hair and fingernails, and plastic boobs? What will we ever do without thses neccessities of life? Who will wait on our every whim then? What do you mean my vehical warentee is no longer valid, and the company that made it is long gone?

If we do have a world shaking event December 21, 2012, and things do change dramatically, it will only be an improvement. We have become a greedy, wasteful, disease to the earth, and it is time to shake the proverbial fleas, and make room for something else.

I hope to have a front row seat to this great event, and wish I knew the epi-center of it all, for I would stretch out in a lawn chair, open another beer, and just watch the show...

I don't think we are in danger of the world changing at an alarming rate. The great lakes area has seen two different ice ages, and according to scientists, looks as if it may be headed towards that way again.....

But, an Ice age dosent happen overnight. They are a slow, steady change, that take many years to crawl as far south as New York. It will take a decade of change, so I do not think that should be a problem, as people "should be smart enough to get out of a glaciers way.....

 This is highly doubtful. During the Mount St. Helen's eruption in Washington State, they knew for months it would blow, they just didn't know what day it would happen.

 My Dad's home was in the red zone of this volcano, on it's south side. My Dad Knew Mr. Truman, the old guy who had owned the Spirit Lake Lodge, for years he had prepared for the mountains eruption. When it finally did go, it was the North side that went, and the devastation was known worldwide. Mr. Truman had said he would die before he left his lodge. He refused to leave. Spirit Lake, the lodge, and Mr. Truman were all lost to the volcano.

  Had Mr. Truman left his beloved lodge, it would have killed him to loose it anyway... Unless you are ready to meet your maker, take the advise when the good old govt. suggests that you may want to evacuate....

 Green bussiness, is big business right now. Solar power is the craze. Sustainable living is in fashion. We must learn to survive the ultamite survival game, life itself. Learning Brazilian Jui Jitsu will not save us. Mother Earth doesn't care that we study knife fighting, survival skills, or how we build our log homes. The planet cares less what survival items we buy, it pays no mind to our neat new survival knife with all it's bells and whistles.

 No, the planet will do what it always has, continue to rotate, maybe in a slightly new way, but rotate, it will. It will be the human that adapts and maybe finds a way to cope. We will find ways to build better green houses, green business, and eco friendy habitats... Why will we do this? That answer is the easiest of all...

Survival
